Huskies vs. Utes OddsShark Matchup Report

Utah Utes

The Utes followed up their loss to Washington with a road loss to Washington State, dropping to 2-2 SU and 1-3 ATS on the season with an 0-2 SU and ATS record in the Pac-12.

Utah snapped out of its slow start with a 40-21 road win over Stanford which started a 4-0 SU and ATS run in which the Utes scored at least 40 points in every game. The team had one more slip up in a 38-20 road loss to Arizona State, but since the start of October this has been a much better team than the one the Huskies faced back in Week 3.

Since joining the Pac-12, Utah has played the Huskies six times and has gone 1-5 SU and 3-3 ATS against them per the OddsShark College Football Database.

Washington Huskies

Washington entered the Apple Cup against Washington State last Saturday with an 0-2 SU record in their last two road games and an 0-6 ATS record in their last six games overall.

But on a rainy night in Pullman, the Huskies dominated the Cougars to the tune of a 28-15 win as 3-point road underdogs. Despite a paltry 4-11 ATS record over their last 15 games, the Huskies are 11-4 SU over that stretch.

Friday night’s total is set at 44.5 points. The UNDER is 9-3 in Washington’s last 12 games.

The Huskies have underachieved quite a bit on offense this season, but with a defense that ranks 13th in the nation in total yards surrendered and eighth in the nation in scoring defense, they’ve made it back to the Pac-12 Championship Game for the second time in three years.

The Utes will need a much better offensive effort than they had last time against Washington to make it a game this time around.
